What was his major contribution while in office:

Harding’s major accomplishments were mainly in foreign affairs. It started after World War I when the victors wanted to gain more power. When Harding found this he had the U.S meet with Great Britain, Japan, France, and Italy where they agreed to limit the sizes of their navies. This treaty also had the Four Power Pact between the U.S. , Great Britain, Japan, and France respect each of the other’s land in Asia. 

What did he do after he left office:

It is undetermined whether Harding died of natural causes or if his wife had something to do with his death. There was a rumor that Harding’s wife had poisoned him so he didn’t have to be impeached, and another that she murdered him for seeing other women. But no rumor has been proven and may never be.
