Ozaria is a story based game that walks the player through the basics of coding with instructions, concept challenges, and practice levels.
Code Combat is pure practice levels that increase in complexity and difficulty to increase the challenge and concepts covered.
What I advise is to work on Ozaria first once your account is all set up and complete chapters 1-4 before moving to Code Combat. Ozaria gives way more guidance than Code Combat, but doesn’t cover as much content. Once you have completed Ozaria then come back here and start watching my videos, concept challenges/aka quizzes, and take a crack at Code Combat’s practice levels.
If at any point in time you are stuck, confused, or just want to share a project, reach out to me at mercy@logcabinschoolhouse.com or the email mentioned in the videos, mercyme04@hotmail.com.
NOTE: In the videos that I made to accompany the Code Combat practice levels, at the time of making the videos we had a google classroom set up, however that is no longer the case. So, please disregard when I mention the google classroom and just send any questions straight to me at my provided email. Also, I mention a suggested pace, which is simply to complete a video each Monday and Wednesday, but this is self-paced so feel free to go faster or slower to match your pace.
