What was his major contribution while in office:

Jackson’s major contribution was the Indian removal act, he was known for disliking Indians and the Act allowed him to forse them out of the United States territory. Technically speeking the government had no say over the Indians but the Americans kept forcing them out. They simply didn’t tell the Indians that they didn’t have this power over them and so they had to leave.

What did he do after he left office:

When Tyler became president after Harrison and Van Buren Jackson was ecstatic because the Democrats were back at the head. He lived on with many illnesses but he always recovered, his friends often wondered about his mortality. He died on June 8th, 1845 with friends and family all standing by him and he was buried next to Rachel.
